Unlike most leathers which have a repetitive grain stamped onto them, this leather has a very irregular grain - like real skin has. This shows the leather has been taken off the top layers of the hide, which are the most expensive. These top layers are valuable as they have the original skin markings preserved, which gives the leather a more lifelike character and natural beauty.

As the leather is so soft, the shape of the bag is extremely slouchy and squashy. It definitely has a very rock chick, grungey look about it regardless of which colour you pick! There's plenty of brass hardware on these bags, such as the rings and front pocket fitting.
