No we do not. Some of our leather handbags are of a similar style, but they are not authentic Hermes bags.
As of April 2011, all our products have a full leather exterior apart from the following ranges - jewellery and Luigi leather trim handbags (which are edged in leather only).
This is a common question asked about our patent leather handbags. Patent leather is soft leather that has been treated with extra coatings of lacquer. This not only provides a glamorous sheen, but helps further protect the leather handbag from rain, stains and scuffs.
Whilst plastic and patent leather handbags look shiny, there is a difference. As the base fabric of a patent leather handbag is cloth-like leather, with wear it will become more flexible, softly creasing and developing an attractive vintage appearance.
Plastic, on the other hand, is a rigid material so it cracks, scuffs and the printed designs on it flake off when exposed to heavy wear.
Plastic bags can also be very expensive considering how cheap the material is to make. You can buy real leather handbags in our sale section from only £19.99, so everybody can afford the luxury of a leather handbag or other leather product, regardless of their budget.
There is also no comparison for the appeal of natural leather against
artificial PVC.

Height (for example, on a leather handbag) is how high the leather handbag is (and doesn't include the straps), the width is how wide the leather handbag is at the fullest part and the depth is a measurement of the base section of the leather handbag.

Our leather luggage size and weight measurements aren't 100% accurate,
so you might like to give and take a few cm's or grams here and there.
First of all, wipe over the leather with a cloth to remove dust. We recommend a specialist leather cleaning product to remove stains, but whatever product you choose to use, it's important to test it an obscure place first.
After cleaning, use a specialist leather conditioning treatment to nourish the leather with natural oils that may have been removed during the cleaning process.
For polishing, we recommend a neutral coloured leather polish. Coloured polishes can bring dramatic results, but make sure the colour doesn't rub off onto your clothes!
If you want to clean the lining of a leather handbag, I find it best to hold the lining away from the leather and gently scrub with mild soap and a damp sponge.
Once you have cleaned your leather handbag, store it in a dustbag (these are free with most of our handbags) as dust can create stains. Also make sure to keep leather away from strong heat, but if it has become dry, it might benefit from a leather conditioning treatment.
During the manufacturing process there can be the odd spot of leather glue left on a bag. Although we aim to spot and fix this before dispatching your order, this can be removed quickly and safely by dabbing Blu-Tak onto it.

Many of our women's leather handbags feature metal hardware. To keep this clean and shiny, I recommend a light scrub with a soft sponge and just a little soap. Then wipe with a slightly damp sponge and dry off with a towel.
