Privacy
Policy
We at www.Luxury-Leather-Goods.com/.co.uk deal with your information
in a confidential and respectful manner. Before I give any further information
about what information we are likely to retrieve off you in any way, I
will emphasise one fact to you:
We will not give out any of your information, whatsoever to any other
company.
Certain less respectful businesses make extra money on the sidelines
by selling their customers email address and other personal details to
other companies. I do not - I make money by selling the products you see
on this website only.
I understand how annoying it is when I get sent bundles of useless information
from companies that seem to know everything about me, when I know nothing
about them, so I wouldn't wish to put this on you either. You are assured
that we will not give out any details about you whatsoever to any other
company.

Cookies
When you visit my website, my server sends a cookie to your internet
browser, which, if your internet settings permit, is then stored in your
Temporary Internet Files folder. Once your cookie is stored, it retrieves
certain information about the computer and internet settings you are using,
i.e. whether you have Internet Explorer 6 or you have an AOL browser.
You can alter your cookie settings in the tools section of your internet
options, to have a high security acceptance level or to accept all cookies.
What Information We Retrieve
- Your internet browser (i.e. IE 6 or AOL explorer)
- Your screen resolution
- Your monitor colour depth
- Your operating system (e.g. windows XP or Linux)
- What time and day you visited
- Whether you have visited the site before or not
- How you got to my site (e.g. by a search on Google)
- How many pages of my website you looked at before you left
The cookie gives each visitor a unique code, so it can distinguish each
website visitor as an individual website visitor.
The information above is all that is provided. Cookies are not meant
to hold personal information about the user, such as where you live or
what the computer owner's name is.
The Way Cookies Are Used:
Cookies are used by webmasters to enhance their website, to comply with
the majority of their viewer's computer and internet setting requirements.
For example - the reason I use JavaScript email form processors is because
I know most of my visitors have a fairly recent internet browser, which
allows the use of JavaScript.
Another benefit is that, because I am able to tell when most people are
looking at my website, I can make sure I am around to reply to their emails
or answer their phone calls at that time.
I can also tell if I need to improve the content of my web pages to make
sure the visitor doesn't look at one page before getting bored. I can
also see if my site has lots of visitors or none at all!
As you can see, the small amount of information your cookies give allows
web designers, such as myself, the answers to improve our websites and
website marketing strategies and provide a better service to you. If we
didn't have this, then it would all be guesswork.

Other Information We Retrieve
When you get in touch with us, we will store details about you, such
as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your home address
- Any other information you choose to provide to us
As mentioned above, these details will not be shared with any other company
at all. They will be stored in a confidential manner.

Your Email Address
Our business is very small, and a large proportion of our marketing is
created through word of mouth. This takes an unnecessary expense out of
our budget, which means we are able to provide our products to you at
a cheaper cost.
If you have supplied your email address to us in any way, then we will
send our email newsletter to you every so often. We do not bombard our
contacts with daily newsletters. You will only be contacted if we have
a new product or service which we believe you may be interested in.
